Well I'll backtrack again, to a week ago, my birthday! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, despite the fact that I discovered that the sea and I are not the best of friends. No, I didn't get sick I was just a bit nauseated through the entire thing. Did I catch anything? Unless you count the numerous sharks I had to throw back, the answer would be no. It wasn't a good fishing day for really anyone overall, but it was a great way to spend my 17th birthday. Still can't believe I'm now 17. I feel the same though.

Onto Friday Oct 11, we had a football game that night.. the game went on, but the band wasn't there! It had been pouring all day and it was still pouring around 5pm, when the band had to be there. Luckily, Mr. Coogan cancelled the band. The field was a huge mess and would have been a disaster if you had the BHS Marching band, all 80 something of us on the field. So, here's a great opportunity to go out and have a great Friday night? Guess what I did? NOTHING! Did homework, yeah, that friday night ruled.

The next day.. Saturday. Worked, 3-10 like usual. On Saturday's, I tend to sleep in a lot, usually till around 1:30, till I have to get up to get ready for work. Sunday I worked 2-7, then went out with the parents after for yummy chinese food, for my birthday dinner.

Monday, no school! But of course, it was not a vacation day for the BHS Marching band.. we had the Autumfest parade! Gotta love the freezing cold, being there at 8:30 am, and not stepping off in the parade until 11, oh yeah, good times! Plus, I got a blister from my new "Speedster" marching shoes. :( It was long, tiring but I survived, and only one more year to go of that silly parade!

Tuesday, yesterday. Was quite uneventful, had marching band from 5-8 and froze some more.. but at least we're finally done our entire field show! Now of course the next game isn't till Nov 1.. but who's counting?

Today-- stayed home, for certain "reasons", reasons that only females would understand. Thats all I'm going to say, as most of my LJ friends are Males, and I would not want to gross them out with the details.

Tomorrow, I might be going to visit Randy's grave, I haven't seen it since July, and its now been 6 months since he passed away. I still miss him a lot, still think about him everyday. :(

Friday, no plans as usual, but I gotta go to bed early because I have PSAT's first thing Saturday morning! Yay! I hate tests.. especially long ones.. I'm going to dread the SAT's, I know it.

And of course, Saturday I'm working 3-10, after I'm finished with that nasty PSAT test. Fun fun.

I actually succeeded in putting together a Woodwind Quintet, and thankfully [livejournal.com profile] musiccomp83, has been kind enough to offer to transpose the Bassoon part to a Bass Clarinet part, seeing as our band has no bassoons. I'm so proud of myself, we'll be playing "Suite for Woodwind Quntet"- Rober Washburn. It's a tricky 3 movements, but we have some really talented players, so I'm sure we could pull it off!

Well, thats all for now, maybe I'll get an inspiration to write more
